This punch contains Mexico’s oldest treasure: cacao, a luxury item, and a means of exchange among our ancestors.

The cacao we use comes from “La Broma de Teo,” a sister project, founded by Luciana Helguera. She works with Mexican producers who cultivate the cacao and extract the very best beans using artisanal methods.

It was in the Oaxaca markets where La Princesa de Etzatlán tasted the first time chocolate en agua (a traditional Oaxacan drink made from chocolate and purified water): that inspired her to create this punch.

That is the reason why the recipe is so simple: Cacao and sweetened water with Mexican brown sugar, “piloncillo”.

This punch is so natural, you can notice how the cacao sediments can settle in the neck of the bottle. Just give it a quick and fast shake, then here you go, enjoy a full taste of the chocolate in every sip.

Gran Ponche Mexicano is a traditional drink of Comala, Colima Mexico. Gran Ponche Mexicano is a delicious combination of pomegranate and hibiscus flower, elevated by a light sweetness from sugarcane in the rum base. Enjoy chilled or in your favorite cocktail. 12% ABV.

Straightaway is Portland, Oregon made, by a couple of cocktail enthusiasts who started batching cocktails for family and friends that became so popular they decided to make them for everyone. They make from scratch all the syrups and bitters in house and juice fresh lemons and limes instead of using concentrate or artificial flavorings like some of their competitors. They are perfectly balanced and never too sweet, which is often our biggest complaint in the category. The Negroni is a popular Italian cocktail, made of one part gin, one part vermouth rosso (red, semi-sweet), and one part Campari, garnished with orange peel. It was invented in Florence, Italy in 1919 by Count Camillo Negroni when he asked to replace the soda water in his Americano cocktail (Campari, Sweet Vermouth, Soda Water) with gin. For No. 21, just pour over ice, stir five times clockwise, twice counter-clockwise, garnish with an orange peel, and enjoy! 28% ABV.
