Welcome to Wine Exchange's Terms & Conditions. This document outlines our operational procedures and policies. Please read through carefully to understand how transactions are conducted. For any clarifications, do not hesitate to contact us via email: [email protected]
Pricing and Orders
All prices listed are net and subject to the available stock. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion. Although infrequent, prices may change without notice. This applies to both increases and decreases in price. We also reserve the right to correct any pricing errors.

All content, including text, documents, images, and HTML code, is copyrighted. Unauthorized use or copying without explicit permission is prohibited.
Age Restrictions
Wine sales are restricted to individuals who are at least 21 years old. By placing an order, you confirm that you are of legal age. Delivery of wines requires the recipient to be at least 21 years old. A signature from an individual of legal age is necessary at the time of delivery, and valid identification may be requested. If a delivery is returned due to failure to verify age, the customer will bear the return shipping charges.
Special Orders: Pre-Arrivals, Futures, and Vintage Wines
Wine Exchange is committed to ensuring the availability and timely delivery of pre-arrival wines. We guarantee that we have secured these wines in advance. Delivery times for pre-arrival, futures, and special orders are estimates.
For vintage wines, especially older ones, we source primarily from Europe. Stateside sources are considered if the condition is verified to be excellent. Note that purchases of red wines older than ten years and white wines older than five years are made at the buyer's risk, caveat emptor.
Duties & Tariffs
Any additional duty fees, tariffs, or taxes will be the sole responsibility of the buyer. As pre-arrival products ship from overseas, they may incur a tariff upon import. If no tariffs are in effect at the time of importation, no tariff fee will be applied. At Wine Exchange, we uphold a strong customer protection policy against tariffs and duties, and we are committed to doing everything in our power to avoid importing products that may be subject to such charges. To further safeguard our customers, we maintain temperature-controlled storage for all pre-arrival items still overseas. This allows us to offer complimentary storage should broad tariffs be enacted, giving us the flexibility to delay importation until those tariffs are lifted.
Storage Options
Local Pickup / Will Call: This option is for customers who can collect their purchases from our store. Orders must be picked up within 30 business days. Unclaimed orders are subject to a monthly storage fee of $20 per case after this period. Orders not picked up within 6 months will be considered abandoned, restocked and refunded (to store credit only) and may be subject to a restocking fee.
Hold For Future Shipment: Customers who prefer to wait for better shipping conditions or consolidate orders can opt for this. We offer free storage for up to 6 months. Beyond this period, a monthly storage fee of $20 per case applies. Unresponsive customers after an additional 6 months, or if storage fees cannot be collected, will have their orders deemed abandoned and restocked at customer's expense.
Shipping and Processing
We strive to process orders received by 3 PM (PST) on the same day. Due to unforeseen circumstances, some orders may be processed the next business day. Customers are encouraged to use the comment box for special shipping instructions or requests.
Due to state restrictions, we cannot ship to Louisiana, Mississippi, Utah, & Kentucky. Shipments to Alabama are only made to approved ABC regulated stores.
Cookies
We use "cookies" on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.
Sharing
We use outside shipping companies to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes beyond filling your order.

Security
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
