The estate’s “baby” Chambertin! With vines more than 70 years old and soils just as noble as those of premier cru vineyards just a stone’s throw upslope, ‘Clos Village’ is really the heart and soul of Gevrey. Round and harmonious, with plush purple fruits and an abundance of silk. Winemaker Damien Livera can walk from his cellar door directly into the heart of ‘Clos Village.’

Perfectly exposed to the southeast, this walled vineyard sits high up on the slope, and with its pure limestone soils, delivers a more refined, layered and complex red Burgundy.

An over achieving AOC Meursault, 'Criots' comes from 30-50-year-old vines inherited from Pierre's grandmother.

The 2020 Pierre Boisson Meursault is a beautifully restrained yet deeply expressive Chardonnay, blending power with precision. Aromas of ripe pear, yellow apple, and Meyer lemon intertwine with notes of hazelnut, crème fraîche, struck match, and a touch of flinty reduction. The palate is textured and mineral-laced, with layered citrus and orchard fruit wrapped in fine acidity and gentle oak influence. It finishes long and composed, echoing with chalky tension, toasted almond, and a whisper of savory lees.

The Murgey de Limozin parcel of vines are the oldest of the Bourgogne holdings from the Boisson family, with the vines in this lieu dit over fifty years of age. This wine simply crushes most Villages level Meursaults...a stunner!

Most of the fruit in this Bourgogne Blanc comes from the area of Charnay,  just  North  of  Pouilly. This is 100% Chardonnay, vinified in stainless steel tanks. High-toned aromatics of calcaire, apple and pear skin. In the mouth the wine is vibrant  and fresh, with good tension and very fruit-driven: lemon oil, tangerine, smoke, wet chalky stones.

The Capuano-Ferreri Santenay Blanc Vieilles Vignes 2021 is a white wine with a bright, clear, and brilliant appearance. It offers a complex aromatic profile, featuring notes of white and yellow fruits, floral hints, and subtle toasted or smoky minerality. On the palate, expect a creamy vanilla and oak character, along with a touch of lemon and herbaceous notes. The wine is known for its balance, featuring a mineral backbone and a medium body with medium acidity. 

92-94 Points! The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes, tasted from a one-year-old barrel (there will (be) 20% new in the final blend) has a tightly-knit bouquet with blackberry and raspberry fruit, quite elegant after three or four minutes of aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with a lovely, confit-like entry, very well balanced with a silky texture, hints of raspberry jam and white pepper on the finish. Beautifully defined from start to finish.
