The Wonderland Project Pinot Noir Two Kings Sonoma County 2022
$24.98QuickviewOut of StockOut of stockFrom the winery:
Vineyard: The 2022 vintage is composed of 3 different vineyards from the southern end of Sonoma Valley and Carneros. Los Chamizal is located at the foot of the Moon Mountain AVA, farmed organically and planted to clones 777, Mt. Eden and Wadenswil. Circle Bar Ranch is farmed organically, located at the southwestern corner of Carneros, and planted to clone 538 also known as Colmar clone. Leveroni Vineyard is fish friendly farmed, situated just a few miles south of the Sonoma square and planted to clone 828.
Vintage: A warm winter with below-average rainfall and a cool start to spring kept the vines dormant late into March. Spring remained cool and brought moderate amounts of rain all the way to Memorial Day, keeping shoot growth fairly slow until early June. Mild summer weather contributed to slow fruit development until warmer August temperatures prevailed, pushing grapes to maturity quickly. Harvest began on August 9th with favorable, temperate weather throughout the picking season.
Cellar: Vineyards were harvested between August 26th and September 9th. The grapes were fermented in stainless steel open top tanks with anywhere from 0 to 100% whole cluster inclusion, depending on the lot. The wine was aged for 6 months in 100% neutral and bottled on April 24th, 2023.

Thierry Germain Domaine des Roches Neuves Saumur Champigny Franc De Pied 2020
$54.98HURRY, ONLY 6 LEFT!QuickviewVM9494 Points! The 2020 Franc de Pied is incredibly reductive when it was first opened and needed a lot of time and a swirl with a copper coin. If you can be patient ( 5 minutes with a penny in your glass, or your currency’s equivalent), It’s worth the wait. It reveals itself to be a richly fruited, savory style that fills the mouth with a balloon of chalky silkiness. The limestone element really shows itself on the long finish grained texture and sinew. As you’d hope from Saumyr-Champigny, there’s no sense of weight or heft. Detectable now but has the structure to develop over the coming two decades. - Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous

Thread Feathers Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain 2023
Special Price $39.98 Regular Price $60.00QuickviewOut of StockOut of stockRipe black fruits dominate the palate, providing a burst of flavors reminiscent of blackberries, dark cherries, and plums. Notes of dark chocolate, toasted oak, and a hint of baking spices add layers of complexity and sophistication to the wine's profile. It is clear this juice came from a serious cellar. How this differs from a lot of other Howell Mountain Cabs is the balance. The combination of the long, cool growing season and the quality of the fruit gives us a wine with that textbook minerality but with impossibly fine tannins. This is a lovely, expressive, polished, ethereal Cabernet that showcases its origins.

Timeless From the Family of Silver Oak Soda Canyon Ranch Napa Valley 2021
$189.98HURRY, ONLY 2 LEFT!QuickviewDEC9696 Points! The fifth vintage release of Timeless from the Duncan family of Silver Oak continues to showcase its hallmark style—where elegance meets Napa mountain muscle. This Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant proprietary blend is crafted by winemaker Nate Weis using grapes from the Duncan family's Soda Canyon Ranch Vineyard, an estate spanning 45.7 hectares in the benchlands of the Vaca Mountains just north of Napa. Unlike Silver Oak, which is aged in American oak, Timeless is aged entirely in French oak. The 2021 vintage exudes alluring blackberry and black cherry fruit, lifted by toasty cedarwood, rose petals, and dried apricots. Ripe and powerful tannins frame the wine, which displays remarkable concentration and depth, with a darker fruit profile than previous releases. Those tannins build through the full-bodied finish, making 2021 the most powerful and structured vintage yet while still retaining a thread of freshness and vibrancy. The blend includes 5.6% Petit Verdot. - Jonathan Cristaldi, Decanter
