For nearly a decade, we have traded our freshly-emptied barrels with some of our brewing collaborators. They have in turn “seasoned” them with Stout before returning them. Stout Cask pushes the boundaries of flavor. It begins with Westward Whiskey Original and is then aged for one year in Stout casks.

Blanton's Black Label is an exclusive single-barrel bourbon originally bottled for the Japanese market, known for its refined character and longer aging compared to the standard Blanton's Original. E.H. Taylor, Jr. Straight Rye Whiskey is a Bottled-in-Bond release made from a mash bill of rye and malted barley, with no corn, resulting in a whiskey that showcases rye’s bold, spicy character. Its rich mahogany hue reflects the careful aging process.

On the nose, it offers an inviting mix of toasted oak, rye spice, black pepper, mint, and subtle notes of pear. The palate opens with a burst of rye spice and pepper, balanced by caramel sweetness, fresh mint, and hints of citrus. The whiskey’s oily texture coats the mouth, enhancing the complexity of flavors. Wolves 5-Year American Single Malt is a distinctive whiskey that embodies the spirit of the American West. Distilled in 2019 using a copper pot still, it was aged for five years in California French oak wine barrels under the Arizona sun. After this maturation, hand-selected barrels were blended and finished in aged Cognac casks, resulting in a complex and layered profile. On the nose, it presents aromas of honey, graham cracker, caramel, and red fruit. The palate offers flavors of vanilla custard, nutmeg, clove, sweet oats, and fig, leading to a medium to long sweet finish. Bottled at 48% ABV, this American Single Malt is both bold and inspired, celebrating the intrepid past of the American West.

Maker's Mark Cellar Aged 2024 is a limited-edition bourbon that represents the distillery's oldest release to date. This expression is a meticulous blend of 15% 12-year-old and 85% 13-year-old bourbons, aged to taste rather than time, and bottled at cask strength of 119.3 proof (59.7% ABV).

The aging process includes finishing maturation in Maker's Mark's LEED-certified limestone cellar, which allows the bourbon to develop a richer, deeper, and more complex flavor profile while avoiding the harsher tannic effects often found in older American whiskies.

Tasting notes for this release include aromas of caramelized sugar, zesty citrus, and toasted almond. The palate offers flavors of buttery shortbread, rich coconut, and bright spices, leading to a lingering, mouth-coating finish with dried dark fruit and subtle oak undertones.

Wild Turkey's Distiller's Reserve Kentucky straight bourbon is a unique offering curated by the esteemed father-and-son distilling duo, Jimmy & Eddie Russel, who handpicked whiskey from their most cherished reserves. Aged for 12 years and bottled at 50.5% ABV (or 101 proof), this special Japan only release exemplifies their dedication to craftsmanship and tradition.

Includes one bottle each of the Russell's Reserve Single Barrel (110 Proof) and Russell's Reserve Single Rickhouse 2024 Release (Camp Nelson B, Floor 6, 120.2 Proof). 

McKenzie Straight Rye Whiskey is a robust, small-batch spirit crafted by Finger Lakes Distilling in upstate New York. Made with a mash bill of locally sourced rye, it delivers bold, spicy notes of black pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg, balanced by hints of caramel, vanilla, and oak from aging in American charred barrels.
