Rum

This rum is made by Demerara Distillers Limited in Guyana, using a blend of two rare marques: Diamond High Ester (DHE) and La Bonne Intention (LBI). It is aged about 11 years in ex-bourbon casks and retains a high ester profile for intense aroma and flavor, bottled at cask strength (roughly 57 % ABV).

Tasting Note:
On the nose it delivers bright orange peel, rich vanilla, and warm spices like cinnamon and clove, underlaid by dark chocolate and slightly burnt caramel. The palate is bold and full with honey, caramel, dried figs, and nutmeg, balanced by confectionary sweetness and a faint minerality that speaks to its heritage. The finish is long, dry-leaning, leathery and spicy with lingering oak and smoky tones.

Hampden Estate in Jamaica has been producing rum since the 1700s and is regarded as one of the most traditional distilleries in the Caribbean. Known for wild fermentation, the use of copper pot stills, and extended tropical aging, Hampden creates high-ester rums with bold intensity and unmistakable character. Hampden Estate 1753 Single Jamaican Rum is a rich, full-bodied rum that pays homage to the long history of Hampden Estate, one of Jamaica’s most iconic distilleries. Made using traditional methods, it blends both pot still and column distillation, resulting in a rum that’s complex, bold, and full of character. The rum is aged in a combination of American oak and ex-bourbon casks, which imparts deep, warm flavors.

The nose is immediately inviting, with intense aromas of tropical fruit, like ripe bananas and papaya, alongside a pronounced, earthy funk that is characteristic of Jamaican rums. There’s also a hint of spice, brown sugar, and oak. On the palate, the rum is rich and flavorful, with layers of dark fruit, molasses, and a slight peppery warmth. The influence of the casks provides a rounded, smooth finish that is both sweet and slightly smoky. Blend has a slight straw color and notes of ripe banana and tropical fruit on the palate leading to a clean smooth finish, the signature of Hamilton rums.

J.M 80 Proof is perfectly balanced to bring a true and fresh experience to the cocktail experience. The palate entry is preceded with a bulbous bouquet of white pepper and lilies, which give way to grilled pineapples, green banana, raspberry, and warm biscuits throughout the mouth and slowly moves into a long and dry finish.

Chairman’s Spiced Rum begins with the original Chairman’s Reserve steeped with “Bois Bandé,” a local Caribbean bark culturally known for its aphrodisiac qualities. Added to the rum are local spices and fruits such as cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, vanilla, allspice, lemon, and orange peels.

RUM BLEND: A blend of Coffey and pot still rums aged and finished with local fruits and spices

MATURATION: Aged separately by batch and by type of still in ex-Bourbon barrels, then blended and rested in oak vats for an additional six months. Local fruits and spices are added over the final six months of finishing.

The 15 Year’s nose opens with subtle fragrant pear notes that give way to aromas of raisin and pungent brown sugar. Rich black currant jam and brûlée caramel flavors unfold, leading into spice notes of ginger snaps and fresh-cracked black pepper. Butterscotch candy lingers on the soft, extended finish.

The sugar cane juice is distilled in our column and pot stills and blended to create a unique premium white rum that is delicious served neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails.
