Tasting Note:

Tapatio is produced at La Alteña Distillery in Jalisco, founded in 1937 by Don Felipe Camarena. Known for traditional methods such as brick oven cooking and slow fermentation, the distillery emphasizes pure agave expression and heritage craftsmanship.

Tasting Note:
Fresh and vibrant, this tequila opens with aromas of cooked agave, citrus, and white pepper. The palate is crisp and clean with herbal tones, green apple, and a subtle mineral edge, finishing bright and refreshing.

Crafted in Oaxaca from 100% Espadín agave, Claridad celebrates traditional mezcal-making with small-batch, artisanal methods passed down through generations.

The mezcal opens with soft herbal and mineral notes, layered with hints of tropical fruit and a touch of spice. Cazcanes No.7 Extra Añejo is a small-batch tequila aged for an average of 37 months in re-charred American oak barrels sourced from Jack Daniel’s, Jim Beam, Clermont, and Four Roses. Blended to taste—not to time—this tequila is carefully aged to preserve bold agave character without being over-oaked.

Crafted in Amatitán, Jalisco, using 100% organic Blue Weber agave and natural volcanic spring water trucked in from Navichi Springs near Hostotipaquillo, Jalisco. A small portion of the tequila was finished with French oak staves for added depth, then carefully integrated into the final blend to bring refined complexity, enhanced texture, and layered nuance.

The result is a balanced, expressive Extra Añejo with notes of roasted agave, vanilla, dark chocolate, butterscotch, oak, dried fruit, and warm spice, all leading to a long, harmonious finish.

Nose: Salty-briny, smoky, honeyed sweetness, herbal green olive, pear, anise, vanilla

Palate: Savory-spicy with papaya, tropical fruit, woody spice, olives, tomato-like umami, allspice, herbal depth, caramel-vanilla

Finish: Long and earthy — notes of roasted pastries, ginger, black pepper, woody bitterness, dried fig, leather, menthol, tobacco, clay-earth undertones 

Nose: Cooked maguey, natural caramel, hints of chocolate, coffee, citrus, and white flowers

Palate: Rich macadamia, coffee, chocolate, smooth oak and vanilla from barrel aging

Finish: Toasted walnuts, wood, vanilla — with a velvety, lingering warmth

Our favorite 'workhorse' blanco tequila for your home bar. Cimarrón Tequila from Atotonilco, Jalisco is distilled from hillside agave grown at 4,620′ elevation, where plant sugars reach an average of 24-26° Brix. A low-pressure, slow agave roast creates Cimarrón’s bright, forward flavor, and fermentation is entirely natural using winemakers’ yeast.

Tres Agaves Reposado is produced from organic blue agave grown in the Tequila Valley. The agaves are harvested and roasted to extract their natural sugars before fermentation and distillation. The tequila is then aged for about 9 months in repurposed Bourbon and Tennessee Whiskey barrels, imparting unique flavors and a light yellow hue.

Flor de Azar Triple Sec is a beautifully balanced orange liqueur from Mexico, crafted with the finest orange peels and distilled to perfection. Palenqueros Madrecuishe was produced in the village of Santa Maria La Pila at 1552 meters above sea level by fourth generation producer Don Valente Garcìa, alongside his grandson Semei, from cultivated Madrecuishe. Cooked in an oven pit and hand crushed with a wooden mallet, the agave is fermented in cypress and pine wood vats using the ambient yeast of the distillery before it is distilled on a 350 liter copper pot still powered by direct fire. Bottled at still strength of 48.9% with no additives.

Palenqueros is a project initiated by La Maison & Velier’s Luca Gargano and involves six producers from the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. The initial series of 12 certified mezcals in 2019 was a collaboration project with Tradición Chagoya, which owns and operates other mezcal brands like Donaji and Los Cuerudos. The second series, released in 2024, featured 6 agave distillates and was solely a project of LM&V.
