Home Base Single Malt is a unique Californian spirit capturing the terroir of the West Coast. It’s made from 100% estate malted barley and aged in ex-Home Base Bourbon barrels to let the grain flavor shine. In 2023, it received a Good Food Award in the Spirits category.

We recommended you enjoy it neat, over ice, or in a favorite Scotchy cocktail to experience the earthy, grassy nose with flavor notes of maple, cream soda, caramel, and honey nut.

Distilled from a mash bill of 51% rye and 49% malted barley. Big, bold and unapologetically intense! The malted barley really shines through upfront, starting the Flavor journey off sweet and creamy with notes of caramel, cereal and what can only be described as..well...malt.

The rye kicks off the Finish with tons of cinnamon spice, big black pepper combined with smoky Flavor notes courtesy of the malted barley. being cask strength only adds to the beautiful intensity of the Finish.

Yellowstone Limited Edition represents an annual exploration in top-shelf blends and finishes. Making each year a unique and sought after release. For 2023, we created a delicately balanced blend of 7-year, 13-year and 16-year bourbons, that is then finished in Tokaji casks. Available in limited quantities for those who seek it.

A stunning 6 year old rye, finished in Cognac barrels which brings an undeniable complexity and beauty.

Distilled in Tennessee and aged at Savage & Cooke in Northern California.

Primary aging in new charred American oak barrels, finished in barrels that previously held Fine Champagne Cognac.

Proofed to 100 with pristine water from Dave’s high elevation property in Alexander Valley, 40 miles from the distillery.

The latest chapter of this renowned collection is adorned with the signature of our Master Distiller, Kevin O’Gorman. After months of exploration, O’Gorman crafted a balanced blend of rare and hand-selected single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys from Midleton’s exclusive inventory to create this truly special release.

Matured in lightly charred ex-bourbon American oak barrels, the Midleton Very Rare 2023 Vintage Release delights with decadent flavours and a tantalising aroma. The aroma, taste and finish of this whiskey will enliven the palates of those new to this collection while taking the seasoned whiskey collector on a journey through an exciting exploration of taste.

The Meyer’s whisky is a mash of wheat and malted barley from the Champagne region and malted barley. The phase of malting the barley is entrusted to La Malterie du Château in Belgium, one of the oldest malteries in the world. Then the wheat and malted barley mash is brewed at an Alsatian brewer, Brasserie Saverne, who practices this technique for beer.

The distillation process is typical of the Highland scotch whiskeys: double distillation and made in distillery copper stills, at the Meyer’s Distillery. This blend superior is aged for a minimum of 7 years in former Sauternes cask from one of Bordeaux’s top estates, Château Doisy Daene.

Notes include apricot marmalade, orange blossom honey, kumquat, vanilla custard, white pepper, roasted almond and a thread of smoke. The palate is seamless and supple and just as inviting as the effusive aromas.

This 'teaspooned' whisky is for all intents and purposes mostly the beloved 1989 Balvenie with that tiny amount of Glenlivet added in order to declassify the cask

From the bottler: 

Distillers can be very protective of their hard-won malts, especially those who carry the most prestigious of names. From time to time, they must relinquish the hold on their casks, when one is sold to an independent bottler, for instance. Before spirit changes hands, the distiller - green-eyed and flush with passion - will take a single teaspoon of another distillery’s single malt, and add it to the spirit in the cask. Just a dash it takes, but that whisky can no longer bear the name its distillery of birth.

The distillery of origin is a darling of Dufftown, where nine stout stills produce a spirit rich in fruit and notably honeyed. Her sister, nestled close by in the Moray countryside, is where the ‘teaspoon’ of malt originated. Though nameless, together they are a powerful and stunning pair.

Independent bottlings of spirit distilled at the Balvenie distillery are rarely found on the market, and though the distillery is notable for having experimented with different cask types, this ex-bourbon cask allows the distillery character to sing finely and clearly, while accentuating the sweet vanilla and stone fruit character.

Made by master blender Ken Usami. Shinobu's Daimyo-no was created as a symbol of the samurai spirit, which aims for perfection with patience. Daimyo refers to powerful samurai who ruled over Japan from the 12th to 19th century. Carefully selected grain and malt whiskies are aged in several types of oak barrels and blended, resulting in a perfectly balanced and harmonious flavor with a rich aroma.

Finish: Long-lasting, lingering warmth with a gentle hint of dried fruit.

One of WhistlePig’s oldest whiskeys, Estate Oak Rye is for the true connoisseur of Rye. It takes its name from our Vermont Estate Oak, where it finishes its long, 15 year life. Sustainably harvested right off our 500-acre farm, the wood has more rings than the standard American oak used in whiskey barrels, imparting more flavor during maturation. Custom toast and char profiles takes the flavor even further, just like a perfectly toasted marshmallow. Hitting the bottle at 92-proof, the liquid is assertive and wise beyond its 15 year age statement, and boasts a score of 97 points from Wine Enthusiast. WhistlePig’s vanguard of finishing lies within our Old World Rye, Aged 12 Years. A Rye styled by Old World sensibilities at 86-proof. This whiskey is the marriage of three finishes, each with their own distinctive flavor profiles.

After maturing for 12 years in New American Oak, the spirit is divvied into one of three barrels –Madeira (63%), Sauternes (30%) and Port (7%). Finished to perfection and blended into a symphony of flavor. It started as a grand experiment and ended as the first Rye whiskey of its kind, giving you Rye in all its glory.. and then some. Just like a fine wine, our Old World Rye’s rich fruit and spice notes are great with an epic meal.

Red Spot is reborn! Mitchell & Son’s Spot Whiskey range dates back many moons, but over time a few expressions have disappeared from shelves, including Red Spot - but those days are over. The relaunched Red Spot is a 15 year old single pot still Irish whiskey, comprised of three different whiskeys aged separately then blended. One is matured in Oloroso sherry casks, one is aged in bourbon casks, and the final one is initially aged in bourbon casks before being finished in Marsala wine casks.

Nose: Stewed berries and booze red wine, with a touch of new leather giving it a savoury edge.

Taste: Apple turnover, black pepper spiciness, caraway, blackcurrant jam, soft vanilla.

Finish: Lasting oaky warmth and a final hint of damson.

Kujira Ryukyu Whisky 10 years was distilled from 100% premium Indica rice, and matured in White Oak Virgin casks for more than 10 years. Masahiro Distillery was founded in 1883, its history could trace back to Ryukyu Kingdom era. Masahiro Distillery is known for its production techniques, prominent qualities, and passion for innovation.

The story within this bottle begins 500 years ago, along the shores of Okinawa’s iconic Ryukyu islands, where indica rice was fermented into the beloved native indulgence of awamori. The Hayashi 8 Year grows these same roots in new, revitalized soil. A single grain whisky aged eight years in bourbon casks is enriched by island air to a masterful oak and caramel complexity, flourished with tropical flavors unique only to the Hayashi name.
