The 2020 La Belle Citadelle Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of crushed blackberries, cassis, violets, pepper, and a touch of cedar. On the palate, it delivers layers of ripe currant, black cherry, and plum framed by smooth tannins and lively acidity. There’s enough richness to satisfy Cabernet lovers, but the freshness and balance keep it dangerously drinkable. It’s medium to full-bodied with a clean, polished finish that makes it incredibly versatile at the table.

100 Points, Wine Spectator's #1 Wine of the Year 1993! This is one of my favorite wines ever. Full-bodied, with layers of silky fruit and masses of currant, mineral and berry character. Amazing.
