The nose is fresh and pure, with a juicy, floral perfume of fresh red berries, violets, and wet stone. It’s fresh and inviting on the palate, with the very pretty elegance that the Sangiovese brings with its more defined structure and refreshing feel. The 2023 "The Dude" is a meticulously assembled blend of fruit drawn from prestigious Napa Valley appellations: Calistoga, Rutherford, and Howell Mountain. The wine was refined for 16 months, utilizing 40% new oak to elegantly frame the fruit while allowing the terroir to shine.

Composition 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 2% Malbec

This Pinot Noir possesses deep aromas of wild strawberries and ripe raspberries accentuated with exotic notes of sandalwood and rose petal. Rich and luscious palate it is focused with layers of ripe red fruits, fresh forest floor and fine-grained tannins that linger through the finish.

90 Points! Based on 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Sémillon, the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc offers honeyed melon, orange, and ripe citrus, as well as some minty nuances. It's medium-bodied, nicely balanced, has good acidity, and a clean finish. It's an impeccably made Sauvignon Blanc to drink over the coming 3-5 years. It's closest in style to a Bordeaux Blanc and will shine with food. - Jeb Dunnuck

Ripe black fruits dominate the palate, providing a burst of flavors reminiscent of blackberries, dark cherries, and plums. Notes of dark chocolate, toasted oak, and a hint of baking spices add layers of complexity and sophistication to the wine's profile. It is clear this juice came from a serious cellar. How this differs from a lot of other Howell Mountain Cabs is the balance. The combination of the long, cool growing season and the quality of the fruit gives us a wine with that textbook minerality but with impossibly fine tannins. This is a lovely, expressive, polished, ethereal Cabernet that showcases its origins.

93 Points! The 2023 Cuvée Juveniles Blanc is sedate and driven by dry extract; it is wider than it is sweet or intense, and the flavor across the palate draws out long over the finish. This is a classy wine here, with lemongrass, chalk, pear skin and green almond. It has an intense mid-palate with very pretty flavor; it's structured like Chenin Blanc. 93 Points! The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Turley Estate turned out beautifully. Readers will find a soft, plush Cabernet Sauvignon that is already quite approachable. Crushed flowers, ripe red-fleshed fruit, spice and new leather are nicely pushed forward. The Turley Estate Cabernet is all charm. Though the vast majority of our wines are single vineyard designates, Juvenile is actually composed of a variety of young vines that have been replanted in several of our best old vine sites. We tag the younger vines then pick them separately and make a distinct wine. Juvenile vines range in age from about 6-25 years, and we pull from a selection of our best vineyards across California.

Round and silky fruit on the palate is redolent of white peach, guava, and green papaya, all of which build with a lovely richness balanced by a fantastic thread of saline-minerality and lime citrus on the finish, along with a burst of spring flowers.
