96 Points! Ripe and expressive on the nose, aromatically complex with notes of carmalised lemons, honey, peach and wet stones. Clarity and precision from the start, such a well defined palate with striking high acidity, crisp and sharp citrus fruits and a salty undertone. Soft spicing comes in towards the finish suggesting this needs more time and will have a long life ahead but the nuanced bitterness, freshness and lift are all so appealing. 96 Points!  The 2020 Château Cos D'Estournel Blanc, a blend of 66% Sauvignon Blanc and 34% Semillon, brings another level of density as well as complexity. Honeyed pineapple, melon, crushed stone, and spicy, savory herbs notes all define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a beautifully layered, elegant mouthfeel and a great finish. A selection made mostly in the cellar, it has a vivid gold hue as well as a stunning nose of ripe lemon, honeyed flowers, mint, crushed stone, and subtle hints of toast. 97 Points! A hidden gem of a wine that doesn't get the recognition it deserves, the 2022 Château Couhins Blanc is 93% Sauvignon Blanc and 7% Sauvignon Gris brought up in 18% new barrels, with the balance in used oak and tank. Bright citrus, honeyed lime, mint, sappy flowers, and chalky minerality all define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied and concentrated on the palate, with gorgeously clean acidity and a great finish. Savvy readers should snatch up this ripe, voluptuous, sensationally layered, textured, complex white. It's always hard to predict how these concentrated dry whites will age, yet this should benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it still drinking beautifully at age 20. - Jeb Dunnuck

70% Chardonnay (5% sous voile), 30% Savagnin from multiple vineyards, totaling 4.0 ha in all, planted between 1980 and 1989.

En Lya: west-facing, shallow clay-silt soil with limestone scree over a deeper layer of Liassic gray marl. Au Calvaire: southeast-facing on a gentle slope, tucked away in a valley, fine limestone scree and clay soil over gray marl. Trémoulette: at the bottom of a west-facing slope, fine limestone scree and clay soil over gray marl.

Varieties are vinified and aged separately, 5% of the chardonnay is further separated and aged sous voile. Pressed with whole clusters with a pneumatic press. Ambient yeast fermentation, malolactic conversion and aging for 18 months in used barrels. Blended and aged for an additional 18 months in tank.

93+ Points! They haven't produced this wine since 2019, and there are substantial changes. There's no Treixadura in the 2022 Viño Branco Dos Canotos; they didn't do any skin contact; and it didn't go through malolactic, because it has a low pH (3.0) and high acidity. It matured in chestnut cask with full less until bottling in May 2023, quite early. The wine is dominated by the Albariño (around 40%, the rest, Lado, Caíño Branco and Loureira) in the aromatics, floral and herbal. It has around 11.7% alcohol, a very tasty and vibrant palate with pungent flavors, and very good persistence and length. There are only 910 bottles. - Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com

From the winery: Bone dry. The Dry Dam Riesling 2020 has a delightfully lifted nose, loaded with lemons,
limes, jasmine and Granny Smith. The palate displays wonderful balance between acid and sweetness, giving that Dry Dam hallmark of sherbet like character. Full of flavour yet pristine and refined. Drinks
perfectly well young but promises to age well, developing toasty, marmalade notes for beyond a decade.

94 Points! Offering up an elegant yet bright bouquet, this 2014 Delamotte Blanc de Blancs opens in the glass with orchard fruits, verbena, lemon zest, pastry, and slightly reductive aromas. Chiselled and perfectly balanced, the palate is lively and intense, and expresses clearly the fruit and the straightforward nature of the 2014 vintage.
