93 Points! Pouring a deeper ruby/magenta color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley is ripe and layered in the glass, with a generous, inviting, pure perfume of black cherries, cola, sweet baking spice, and forest floor. Medium-bodied, it has a lot of charm and a good, weightless feel, with fine tannins and a clean finish. I love that it never feels heavy but is 100% Russian River Valley in character. Drink it over the next 5-6 years. This is a lot of wine for the value. - Jeb Dunnuck

92 Points! The 2022 Zinfandel Russian River Valley is magenta with a hint of purple. It has a more resinous feel, with notes of compote blackberries, menthol, wood spice, forest floor, and candied purple flowers. Medium to full-bodied, it brings more tension to its fresh, even acidity which propels it through the finish. It’s going to age well over the next 6-8 years. - Audrey Frick, JebDunnuck.com

From the winery: Planted in the 1940s, the Stampede Vineyard is an own-rooted Zinfandel planting in the toe-hills of the Sierra Nevada mountains within Lodi’s Clements Hills AVA. With soils composed of decomposed granite, the Stampede Vineyard lies on a parcel that overlooks an old riverbed on one side and the Clements Stampede rodeo grounds on the other. Brothers and Lodi-natives Jeff & John Perlegos impeccably farm this vineyard.

On August 19th, we picked our third vintage of rosé from the ancient vines at Stampede Vineyard in Clements Hills. We couldn't be happier with how the wine turned out. Pressed whole-cluster and fermented in stainless steel. A slow, cold fermentation led to a weightier and more textural rosé, but the wine is everything you'd want a California rosé to be. At only 12.5% alcohol, the wine has loads of acidity, but with a density and vivacity you'd expect from old vine Zinfandel.  Drink now and drink often. This wine* is* springtime.

94 Points! The 2022 Zinfandel Bedrock Vineyard is rich, ample and super-expressive, yet it also has plenty of energy – something that has, at times, been elusive in this site. Black fruit, spice, leather, mocha and licorice are all amplified. Picking a bit earlier helped considerably here. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media

In the 2022 Mountain Zinfandel, our Willow Creek District estate vineyards set the tone with beautiful structure and varietal purity. Grapes from other areas including the Adelaida District and Templeton Gap District bring a layer of ripe, jammy and spicy Zinfandel character. The result is a wine that captures the iconic expression of Paso Robles Zinfandel.

94 Points! It is a departure for Ridge, as it's not a single vineyard wine but instead a blend of 10 different sites from throughout Sonoma County. Bright and delightful with savoury herbs, tart early-season blackberries, and muddled mint leaves, all vie for attention in this wine's generous aromatic show. A melange of wild mountain berries, mouthfuls of dried savoury garrigue and lavender, dashes of white pepper and an incredible lift to the finish which lingers for an eternity. The 2022 Bald Mountain Zinfandel is the second release of our single vineyard Zinfandel and is comprised of 100% fruit from the Bald Mountain Vineyard. This old vine Zinfandel is grown in the mountain vineyard off of Wall Rd and is one of the most stunning vineyards in the North Coast. The old vines produce a concentrated and ripe Zinfandel that will age for years.The fruit was picked on September 23rd, 2022 and arrived at the winery early in the morning before being destemmed to tank. The wine was then macerated for 14 days until the completion of alcoholic fermentation.  After draining it was racked to 30% new American Oak barrels where is aged for one year before being bottled in August.
