Bertinga Toscana Volta di Bertinga 2019
$179.98QuickviewJS99A dymanic new Tuscan red from what was one of the main vineyard components for Castello di Ama's famed L'Apparita!
99 Points! Lots of lavender and violets on the nose, together with graphite, lead pencil, iodine and black olives. Full-bodied with extreme class and balance. The ultra-fine tannins are plentiful, yet integrated, and run the length of the wine. A masterpiece. Best after 2028. - JamesSuckling.com

Castello Di Ama L'Apparita 2020
$299.98HURRY, ONLY 2 LEFT!QuickviewVM9999 Points! The 2020 L'Apparita will soon take its place among the great Apparitas. Unctuous and layered in the glass, the 2020 possesses exceptional balance and tons of character right out of the gate. Exotic scents of blackberry jam, chocolate, new leather, licorice and smoke are so alluring. Imposing tannins need time to soften, but once that happens readers will be treated to a spectacular Apparita that captures all the best the vintage had to offer. Marco Pallanti waited until mid-September (late for the year) to bring in this fruit. That decision paid off handsomely. - Antono Galloni, Vinous Media

Les Asteries St. Emilion Grand Cru 2014
$89.98HURRY, ONLY 1 LEFT!QuickviewWS90JS93WE93-9593-95 Points! This is a structured, mineral wine that is dense and complex. Black plum skins and dark berry flavors push through the serious tannins. The wine still has to balance, but its potential is considerable - Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast93 Points! This is a beauty with great ripeness and balance, but not a jot too sweet or heavy. The tannins are finely grained and give the finish a silky quality. Needs two or three years to open.~ James Suckling, February 13, 2017Learn More -
Masseto Toscana IGT 2021 1.5L Magnum OWC
$1,999.98HURRY, ONLY 1 LEFT!QuickviewWS99DEC99VM100WE99100 Points! The 2021 Masseto is a stunner. It also shows how much the estate has evolved in recent years. I was reminded of that recently when I drank the 2001, considered by many observers, including this one, to be one of the greatest wines ever made here. The 2021 represents a move towards a more refined style. There’s less of the bombastic intensity and extraction that were once the norm here. I remember young vintages that were impossible to taste young. The 2021, on the other hand, is an absolute delight. Crushed flowers, spice, blood orange and bright, red-toned fruit all grace the palate. Floral aromatics and saline underpinnings are at times reminiscent of the Cabernet Franc found in the 2019 and 2020, but the 2021 is back to the classic 100% Merlot. Readers will find a Masseto built on linear energy more than volume. The 2021 is quite simply the most exquisite, refined young Masseto I have ever tasted. Aging was 24 months in 100% new French oak. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous
