91 Points! This year, the 2019 Sologarnacha Amphora Aging was produced with grapes from a vineyard planted in 2017. It's "only" 13.5% alcohol (most of the other wines are much higher in alcohol) and has a perfumed and floral nose, showing some lightness after a short maceration to keep the more ethereal part of the variety. The wine matured in a clay tinaja for five months. Only 295 bottles were filled in July 2020. - Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com

Jemrose Vineyard lies among rolling hills in the Southeast corner of Sonoma County. Here, a patchwork of open grassland and groves of Coast Live Oak give way to carefully manicured vineyard rows.  Warm Summer days draw evening fog up from San Pablo Bay in the South.  This coastal influence has a moderating effect on daytime temperatures and ensures an extended growing season.  This gentle ripening adds soft character and complexity.

Harvested the 2019 vintage on October 16. Two separate vineyard blocks yielded an almost-even split of Alban and Tablas clones, after which underwent an extended, cool co-fermentation.  Bright cherry earth tones, and clove are the focus on the palate, giving way to lush fruit with moderate acidity and soft tannins on the finish.

93 Points! The first vintage released by Rafael Perez when he took over the estate, this is 100% Garnacha fermented in stainless steel and then aged for 24 months in French barrels of different sizes. It is a very pretty and elegant red with lavender and mint aromas reminiscent of the surrounding forest of San Mart¡n de Unx. The palate is direct with vertical acidity but enough generosity and juicy wild strawberry fruit. A well crafted wine. - Tim Atkin, MW
